BARE was devised from a unique combination of creative individuals. Grason Ratowsky and Justin Biel are long time best friends from Boulder, Colorado. Both avid world travelers, they’ve stepped foot on six continents together and saved each others lives more times than the two would like to remember. Motivated by creativity and the goal to live a life full of passion, meaning and adventure, the best friend’s complementary skill sets and shared ideals are a powerful and rare combination. As a skilled businesswoman with roots in NYC, Lo Sampadian completes the BARE trio and provides the backbone for the company. Unlike many companies, the BARE founders are friends, first and foremost. The reciprocal mindset constructed by such a strong friendship provides the innovation and motivation behind the BARE brand.

Lead Designer & Creative Director Grason Ratowsky has cultivated and shaped all things design for BARE. Ratowsky’s passionate dedication to art and unique handcrafted products has laid the foundation for the company’s simple, functional, repurposed design collections and overall brand experience.

JUSTIN BIEL

Client Relations & Marketing Director Justin Biel maintains and directs BARE’s company culture and marketing strategy. Biel’s responsibilities include client communications, consumer influencing, product demand and market analysis.

LO SAMPADIAN

Business Development Director Lo Sampadian has created and constructed the company’s overall business foundation. Her discipline focuses on specialized creative production, management, finance and company strategy.
