Many would say that actress Jessica Biel could look good wearing a burlap sack, and launching Bare bags has given her a chance to prove that correct.

She and her brother Justin (not her husband Timberlake), along with their childhood friend Grason Ratowsky, recently created the eco accessories line.

The company’s vision is to create authentic, functional, artistic pieces with global utility by combining up-cycled and high quality materials with classic designs that last a lifetime.

The socially responsible collection features fancy pouches, totes and backpacks, all made of recycled burlap coffee sacks from around the world, ranging in price from $80 to $320. Every single item is one of a kind, as the brand’s motto reiterates “no two Bare bags are ever the same.”

All bags are handmade in Colorado out of burlap fabric that once held thousands of coffee beans, but it’s Jessica who will really alert people to the brand: the actress claims she takes her tote wherever she goes, and she has declared: “It’s my set bag, it has all my scripts, all my stuff, all of my character stuff…it comes with me every day to work.”XPxDit_2IYEup_MOwgut2dADmAJ3tpsbAnY-ErOjQe4
There are several sizes and styles to choose from, ranging from the Coban Clutch to the Oaxaca Duffel; the Salento Tote to the Tacuba Backpack. Bare bags can be used as wallets, iPad holders, travel bags, or everyday purses, and are already proving to be a hit with Hollywood hipsters.

With a husband who continues to launch his own fashion range and a talent for producing eco-accessories, it seems Ms Biel will never be short of beautiful things to wear, but it’s also certain that the men in her life will never be short a muse.
